The greatest strength possessed by The Key Consulting Group is the hands-on experience and knowledge of the owners. Having a collective 57 years in banking, hands-on experience in the industry with special knowledge of sales and customer service for the branch staff, as well as experience being a facilitator and trainer of sales and customer service programs, the owners bring a unique value to the company that is rare in the industry. Coupled with knowing first-hand what the senior management of a financial organization would and should be looking for when it comes to sales and service evaluations, The Key Consutling Group is positioned to be the premier deliverer of valuable, credible sales and customer service programs and services.

What are our Fundamentals and Qualifications?

The foundation of The Key Consulting Group is to deliver sales, customer service, related training information and services, and in-branch sales and service evaluations (SSE) to banks and credit unions nationally.

The Key Consulting Group understands the challenges today’s financial delivery networks (branches) face in an ever-increasing competitive world. We are a collection of individuals with hands-on banking experience and knowledge, which allows the company to approach these challenges from an extremely realistic, ‘been there – done that’ perspective. We believe that each and every one of these challenges are merely opportunities to be turned into successes.

The majority of our employees and consultants have extensive branch management and/or bank operations experience. All of our training consultants have been reviewed and approved for content, delivery, and most importantly, relevance and value.

Who makes up The Key Consulting Group?

As owners of The Key Consulting Group, Bob and Linda Friday bring a collective 57 years of banking experience to the table. Linda was extremely successful as a business development branch manager. After 25 years in the banking world Linda retired and became President of the County Chamber of Commerce where she lives. Her experience in people skills and business development is well known and respected in her marketplace.

Bob brings a wealth of hands-on experience having been a Regional Vice President for a $1.5 billion organization in the mid-Atlantic region. Bob successfully managed a $450mm region with 12 branches and over 100 employees for several years before taking on the added responsibility as Director of Retail Sales Training and Development for the banks entire branch network. Bob’s leadership and skills were directly responsible for an overall increase in cross-sell for his region as well as the entire branch network for the bank.

Bob and Linda believe it is this experience along with the experience of their employees and consultants that set The Key Consulting Group apart from other financial seminar and training providers. It’s this level of expertise and commitment that raises The Key Consulting Group to the top of the field and brings the highest level of value and credibility to their company and the services they deliver.  

What do we think the future holds for our business and the industry?

We firmly believe that as time moves forward, the need for increased sales and customer service skills will dramatically increase. Most polls indicate that the level of customer service in today’s retail environment is at best, barely satisfactory. This contributes directly to an employee’s ability or in most cases inability to sell the company’s products and services, thus having a direct impact on the organization’s bottom line.

By presenting higher quality seminars at an affordable cost, we believe The Key Consulting Group offers the best value for their clients, as well as providing their client’s employee’s support and guidance to be more successful. All of this translates into success for them and their employer.
